Barry M Instant effect Foil nail polish
I love Barry M, such a big fan! So when i saw on the boots website that they had launched a foil effect nail polish, well i just had to try it!
Foils are expensive and tricky nail art to get to grips with, if you go to a salon to get the foils done it can cost up to £40. So a £3.99 bottle of this stuff is so much cheaper. The nail polish is a nice thick texture and covers well. If your nails are not totally perfect, for example you have a few cracks or chips to the natural nail, the polish will show it up. So i suggest using a normal polish to cover any nail abnormalities up.
One coat covers the nail perfectly, i added two coats as my nails are far from being perfect, the polish dries quickly and has a lovely sheen to it. Foils are possibly prettier as they come in many shades or patterns, but i assume this polish is a take on the minx nail art that is all the rage in nail salon's and at a fraction of the cost its worth trying it out.
So far its only available in Gold and Silver, i have the silver one and it is really nice, i wonder how long it will take to chip but i will put it to the test tomorrow at work! Well worth trying out but i feel it needs something arty to go along with the nice shine of the polish.
